Chicken Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cubed cooked chicken
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    12 c. water
    2 c. shredded carrots
    12 chicken flavor bouillon cubes
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. fine egg noodles (uncooked)
Preparation
    In large kettle over medium heat, cook celery, onion and carrots in margarine until tender; add remaining ingredients except noodles.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; simmer covered 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf; add noodles.
    Cook 6 minutes longer or until noodles are tender.
    Makes about 4 quarts.
