Ingredients

1 c. grated raw potatoes
1 c. warm mashed potatoes
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Squeeze grated potatoes in cloth to remove moisture.
Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
Mix potatoes and dry ingredients well together with beaten eggs.
Add milk to make a dropping batter.
Drop by tablespoon onto a hot buttered frying pan.
Cook over a moderate heat, allowing 4 minutes on each side. Serve hot with butter.
