Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. light brown sugar (packed)
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Over hot (not boiling) water, melt the butterscotch morsels and butter or margarine.
    Remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar.
    Cool 5 minutes, blending eggs and vanilla. Sift together and stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in nuts.
    Spread in ungreased and lightly floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool.
    Cut into 2-inch squares.
    Yields 2 dozen.
