Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 qt. sweet milk
    2 qt. flour
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 rounded tsp. salt
    1 heaping tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Combine sugar, shortening and milk.
    Bring to a boil.
    Let cool until lukewarm, then add yeast.
    Add enough flour to stir like cake batter.
    Put in warm place and let rise for 2 hours. Work in approximately 2 quarts of flour with salt, soda and baking powder.
    Store this in a large container until ready to use. Yields approximately 60 rolls.
