Broccoli-Ham Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen broccoli
    2 c. cooked, rinsed rice
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. fresh bread crumbs
    1 chopped fine onion
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    1 1/2 lb. fully cooked ham, diced
    shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Cook broccoli; drain.
    Spoon rice into a 13 x 9-inch pan or casserole.
    Place broccoli over rice.
    Melt butter; pour 2 tablespoons over crumbs and set aside.
    In remaining butter, saute onion until soft.
    Add flour and salt and cook until bubbly.
    Stir in milk.
    Cook until thick.
    Add ham and heat.
    Pour over rice and broccoli.
    Put crumbs over top; heat.
