Cheesy Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium yellow crookneck squash or 2 pkg. 10 oz. frozen cut squash
    1 medium onion
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. medium Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    1 beaten egg
    3/4 c. herb seasoned dry stuffing
Preparation
    Cut squash into pieces and chop onion.
    Cover both with water in a saucepan and
    cook until tender.
    Drain and salt to taste. Mash mixture and mix
    with
    1/2
    cup mayonnaise, 1 cup Cheddar cheese and
    egg.
    Pour
    into
    greased
    casserole dish. Melt butter and mix
    with herb stuffing.
    Sprinkle over casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
