Granny'S Mixed Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 small can water chestnuts
Preparation
    Cook frozen vegetables according to the package directions. Just before taking the vegetables off, add celery and onions. Let stand for a few minutes. Drain well. Mix vegetables, water chestnuts, mayonnaise and cheese. Pour into a greased casserole.
