Citrus Cooler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 3/4 c. granulated sugar
    3/4 c. water
    3/4 c. fresh mint, coarsely chopped
    juice of 1 grapefruit
    juice of 1 lime
    1 (6 oz.) can pineapple juice
    2 Tbsp. maraschino juice (optional)
    orange stripes and mint sprigs (for garnish)
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
    Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour over mint leaves in a bowl.
    Cover.
    Let steep for 10 to 20 minutes.
    Strain.
