1 c. brown sugar
1 c. quick cook oats
1 stick oleo or butter
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
