Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, milk, vanilla and salt.
    Place 1-quart casserole dish in a baking pan on oven rack.
    Pour mix into dish.
    Pour boiling water into pan around dish about 1-inch. Slide rack carefully into oven.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
