Pumpkin Bread(Makes Three 9-Inch Loaves) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. shortening
    6 eggs
    4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. canned pumpkin
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. brandy (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large bowl, cream together sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; blend well.
    Add remaining ingredients, stirring until well blended.
    Spoon batter into 3 (9-inch) loaf pans.
    Bake 1 hour or until well done.
    Let bread cool in pan for 15 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
    After completely cooled, can be frozen.
    Wrap in plastic first, then wrap in aluminum foil.
