Mom'S Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 to 1 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion
1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large can whole tomatoes (18 3/4 oz.)
1 pkg. chili mix
1/2 tsp. chili pepper
2 cans pinto beans
1 c. water
Preparation

Simmer hamburger, onion and garlic in a little oil until done and drain off liquid.
Blend tomatoes (in blender), then add to hamburger mixture.
Add chili mix, chili pepper, pinto beans and approximately 1 cup water.
The chili will appear thin until allowed to cook for some time.
Simmer on very low heat for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
Salt as desired.
Best if let simmer for 1 to 2 hours.
