Baked Pork Chops And Vegetables - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 pork chops
2 Tbsp. fat
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 c. fresh or canned tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
Preparation

Brown chops in fat in heavy skillet.
Remove chops and place in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Wash rice and add.
Saute onion and green pepper slowly for about 5 minutes in remaining fat in skillet.
Add tomatoes, salt and pepper and simmer until sauce is thick.
Pour over rice and chops and cook in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 40 minutes or until meat is thoroughly cooked.
Makes 4 servings.
