Party Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1-8 1/2 oz. pkg. corn muffin mix
1 lg. sweet onion, sliced
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1-16 oz. can of cream style corn
1 c. sour cream or plain yogurt
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation

Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions.
Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan.
Saut onions in butter.
Add corn, sour cream and cheese to onions.
Spread mixture over corn bread batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
Serve warm.
Leftover ham or green chilies may be added to batter.
