Cheese Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 c. sour cream, at room temperature
    1/4 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. grated onion
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in skins for 20 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Peel and grate potatoes.
    Over low heat, cook onion in butter.
    Add cheese and stir until almost melted.
    Remove from heat and blend in sour cream, salt and pepper.
    Fold in potatoes and put in greased casserole.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake for 25 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven. Serves 8.
    Use a 2-quart casserole.
