Summer Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. summer squash
    1 onion
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese (your choice to sharpness)
    1/4 stick butter
    1 c. crushed saltines
Preparation
    Cut squash into 1/4-inch slices crossways.
    Chop onion and add to squash.
    Precook squash and onion in water; boil for 15 minutes on stove. Drain squash.
    Add to squash 1 beaten egg, salt, pepper, Cheddar cheese, butter and crushed saltines.
    Mix well all ingredients and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
