El Torito'S Sweet Corn Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    1/4 c. butter (room temperature)
    1/2 c. masa
    3 Tbsp. cold water
    2 ears of corn (kernels removed)
    3 Tbsp. cornmeal
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. whipping cream
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Whip Crisco and butter until mixture becomes fluffy and creamy.
    Gradually add masa and mix until well blended.
    Add water gradually, mixing thoroughly.
    Put corn kernels into blender and blend until coarsely chopped; stir into masa mixture.
