Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. white sugar
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    confectioners sugar as needed
Preparation
    Mix 2 cups of white sugar with milk; boil for 5 minutes. Caramelize 1 cup of white sugar in iron skillet.
    Add caramelized sugar to boiled mixture.
    Add margarine and vanilla.
    Use confectioners sugar to thicken icing as needed.
