Ham And Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. onion, minced
    1/4 c. celery, chopped
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 c. water
    2 c. cabbage, chopped or shredded
    2 c. ham, cooked and diced
    3/4 c. dairy sour cream
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Saute onion and celery until tender.
    Add flour, salt and pepper, blending until smooth.
    Add water and cook until mixture comes to boil, stirring constantly.
    Add cabbage.
    Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender, about 10 minutes.
    Stir in ham and cook until heated through.
    Blend in sour cream. Heat but do not boil.
    Serves 6.
