Italian Chickpea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1 (20 oz.) can chickpeas, drained
    1 small onion, chopped
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and marinate overnight.
    Serve with pita bread, cut in quarters.
    Serves 4.
