Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans French-style green beans, drained
    1 stick butter or margarine
    8 oz. cream cheese
    4 oz. sliced or pieced mushrooms, drained (save liquid)
    salt and pepper to taste
    small can French-fried onions
Preparation
    Melt butter; add cream cheese (chop up for easier melting). Add mushroom liquid, salt and pepper.
    Add mushrooms and stir. Add beans and mix well.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Pour in greased casserole.
    Sprinkle onions on top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
