Vanilla Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. scalded milk
    3 beaten egg yolks (save whites for topping*)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar and salt.
    Add the scalded milk and cook until it starts to get thick.
    Add beaten egg yolks and cook until thick.
    Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
    Cool and put in a baked pie shell and top.
