Pork Chop Spanish Rice(One Skillet Meal) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 center cut boneless pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
    3/4 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes
    5 green pepper rings
    2 oz. sharp cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Trim fat from chops.
    Brown in oil 15 to 20 minutes.
    Mix salt and chili powder.
    Sprinkle over chops.
    Add rice, onion and chopped green pepper.
    Pour tomatoes over.
    Cover and cook over low heat 35 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add green pepper rings and cook 5 minutes longer or until rice and meat are tender.
    Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
