Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    6 mashed bananas
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients and milk.
    Add bananas and nuts last.
    Bake in 3 (10-inch) cake pans at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
