Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. vegetable shortening
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together in a large bowl that has a tight fitting lid.
    Cut shortening into flour mixture.
    Add buttermilk and yeast, dissolved in warm water.
    Mix with spoon until all flour is moistened.
    Cover bowl.
    Put in refrigerator until ready to use.
    Take out as much dough as needed.
    Shape in a ball.
    Roll on a floured cloth.
    Cut as biscuits.
    Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet in 400\u00b0 oven about 12 minutes or until brown.
    Dough will keep several days.
