La Fonda Del Sol(A Hearty Mexican Dip!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. ketchup
    2 to 4 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 to 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    16 oz. kidney beans, drained
    1 to 1 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
    3/4 c. minced onion
    3/4 c. stuffed green olives, sliced
    2 large bags corn chips or taco-style chips for dipping
Preparation
    Brown meat and chopped onion in large skillet; add ketchup and spices.
    Mash beans with their liquid; add to meat mixture.
    Place meat mixture in bottom of chafing dish or other serving dish that can be kept heated.
    Top meat mixture with an outer ring of grated cheese, an inner ring of onions and a center of sliced olives. Keep hot and serve with chips.
