Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
whipped cream or Cool Whip
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 baked pie shell, cooled
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar in a bowl.
Melt chocolate over boiling water and add to cream mixture.
Add vanilla and add 1 egg, then beat with electric mixer for 5 minutes.
Pour into baked pie shell and top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
Chill several hours before serving.
