Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bag pretzels
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    6 oz. strawberry Jell-O
    2 pkg. frozen strawberries in syrup
Preparation
    Break pretzels in 9 x 13-inch dish (unsalted can be used). Heat butter and 1 tablespoon sugar; bring to boil and pour over pretzels.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes; cool.
    Cream the cream cheese and sugar; mix in 8 ounces Cool Whip.
    Pour over pretzels. Boil 2 cups water and Jell-O; add frozen strawberries in syrup. Cool until slightly thickened and pour over pretzels.
    Add Cool Whip and grated pretzels for topping.
