Pumpkin Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten
1 large can evaporated milk
1 tsp. ginger
1 (30 oz.) can pumpkin
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. each: allspice, mace, cloves and nutmeg
1 regular yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. melted butter
1/2 pt. whipped cream
Preparation

Mix eggs, evaporated milk, pumpkin, sugar and seasonings together.
Pour into 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, lightly greased and lined with wax paper.
Sprinkle cake mix on top; distribute lightly with fork so as not to mix in.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Press in.
Drizzle top with melted butter.
Bake 55 to 60 minutes.
Use toothpick to check for doneness.
Cool thoroughly; loosen sides and turn upside down to peel off paper.
Cut into 1-inch squares and garnish with whipped cream.
Makes 117 one-inch pieces.
