Scalloped Potatoes With Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

20 medium potatoes (about 4 lb.)
2 1/2 tsp. salt
fresh ground black pepper
grated nutmeg
4 cloves garlic, pressed
3 c. whipping cream
2/3 c. milk
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Peel and slice potatoes thinly.
Use a food processor, if available.
Lightly grease an ovenproof baking pan (13 x 9-inch). Layer potato slices in pan, sprinkling each layer with salt, pepper, nutmeg and cheese.
Press garlic over mixture.
Add cream and milk.
(You may prepare ahead of time up to this step).
Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 40 minutes or until potatoes are soft and creamy and golden brown on surface.
