Ingredients

2 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. all-purpose flour
5 c. oatmeal, blended until powdery
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
24 oz. chocolate chips
3 c. pecans
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugars.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well.
Add vanilla.
Mix dry ingredients.
Add one cup at a time. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes. Yields 8 dozen large cookies.
