Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 tsp. salt
    10 oz. bag raw water blanched peanuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine syrup, sugar, butter and salt.
    Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
    Add peanuts.
    Stir constantly until nuts become lightly browned.
    Remove from heat.
    Quickly stir in soda and spread thinly on greased platter.
