Chicken Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 5 lb.) chicken
    3 qt. water
    1 carrot, diced
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook chicken in water until almost tender, approximately 1 1/2 hours.
    Add onion, carrot, celery, salt and pepper.
    Cook 1 hour and strain soup (stock).
    Cut meat into bite size chunks and save for another meal.
    Serve with noodles.
