Steak Sauce(Victoria Sauce - Rhubarb) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. chopped rhubarb
    1 1/2 c. chopped seedless raisins
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Combine rhubarb, onion, raisins, sugar and vinegar in a saucepan.
    Cook until thick, about 25 minutes.
    As the mixture thickens, stir frequently to prevent sticking.
    Add spices; cook 5 minutes longer.
    Pour boiling hot into hot ball jars, leaving 1/8-inch headspace.
    Adjust caps.
    Process 10 to 15 minutes. Yield:
    about 4 pints.
