English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c chopped nuts
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine sugar, salt and butter.
    Cook to light crack stage (285\u00b0).
    Add nuts and pour on buttered cookie sheet to cool.
