Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1/4 c. catsup
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Drain, crumble and reserve.
    Add onion and green pepper to bacon drippings and saute until tender.
    Add rest of ingredients, except shrimp, and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
    When ready to serve, add shrimp and simmer about 10 minutes.
    Do not overcook; serve over white rice and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
