Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. real vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans or 1/2 c. coconut and 1/2 c. nuts
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
Preparation

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla.
Add egg.
Mix together flour and soda and add it to creamed mixture.
Add nuts.
Refrigerate approximately 6 hours or overnight, if desired.
Makes into small rolls or loaves before placing in refrigerator.
