African Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lbs fresh yams, peeled and sliced
    6 T margarine
    1/2 c water
    3 T Karo corn syrup
    3 T old fashioned brown sugar
    4 oz can crushed pineapple, unsweetened
Preparation
    In a covered skillet, cook yams in 3 T margarine and water over low heat until tender.
    Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
