Scripture Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 1/2 c. fine flour (1 Kings 4:22)
1 c. butter (Judges 5:25)
2 c. sugar (Jeremiah 6:20)
2 c. chopped raisins (1 Samuel 30:12)
6 eggs (Jeremiah 17:11)
2 tsp. baking powder (Amos 4:5)
2 c. chopped figs (Nahum 3:12)
2 c. blanched almonds (Numbers 17:8)
2 Tbsp. honey (1 Samuel 14:25)
1 tsp. salt (Leviticus 2:13)
1/2 c. sweet milk (Judges 4:19)
2 tsp. spices (2 Chronicles 9:9)

Preparation

Mix well.
Put in greased pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 very slowly until done.
Remember that all ovens do not heat the same.
Check heat and adjust if needed.
