Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 Irish potatoes
    1 medium onion, grated
    1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    In a heavy saucepan boil the potatoes until done.
    Drain; allow to cool.
    Remove skins.
    In mixing bowl, grate potatoes; add onion, sour cream, butter, 2 cups cheese, salt and pepper. Pour into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch Pyrex dish; top with 1 cup cheese.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until bubbly.
