Oven Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cut up frying chicken
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. cracker meal
    1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. butter or margarine (1 stick)
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Rinse chicken in cool water; dry thoroughly.
    Beat egg with water.
    Combine cracker meal with seasonings.
    Dip chicken pieces first in egg mixture, then in seasoned cracker meal.
    Place butter in large, shallow pan.
    Place in preheated hot oven at 400\u00b0 until melted and lightly browned.
    Place chicken pieces, skin side down, in melted fat.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Turn and bake 30 minutes more.
