Always Ready Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. All-Bran cereal
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs or egg substitute
    2 1/2 c. white flour
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
    salt (optional)
    1 pt. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup bran and 1 cup hot water.
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Combine all ingredients thoroughly and cover tightly in plastic container.
    Let stand a minimum of 12 hours before baking.
    Batter will keep in refrigerator for at least 6 weeks.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Bake in muffin tins for 18 minutes.
