Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. hot water
3 eggs
1/3 c. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Combine sugar and cornstarch.
Add water slowly.
Cook over medium heat beating constantly until it starts to boil.
Add 3 beaten egg yolks and cook until thick.
Remove from heat.
Add lemon juice, lemon rind and butter.
Cool.
Pour in 8-inch pie crust.
Make meringue and pour over pie filling.
Bake until done.
