Mini Cheesecakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    vanilla wafer cookies
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese with mixer until well creamed.
    Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Beat until fluffy, about 3 to 5 minutes. Put 1 vanilla wafer in bottom of regular-sized muffin cup (foil baking cups).
    Pour batter into cups, filling 3/4 full.
    Place on baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until tops are slightly brown.
    Let stay in open oven for a while.
    Cool. Refrigerate.
    Top with pie filling.
