Sweet And Sour Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. cold water
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Brown beef in oil.
    Stir in onions, 1/2 cup water, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and tomato sauce.
    Cover and cook 1 1/2 hours.
    Blend cold water and cornstarch.
    Use to thicken as desired.
    Serve over rice.
