Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 sweet potatoes
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    corn oil
Preparation
    Peel sweet potatoes and slice.
    Use enough corn oil to cover bottom of frypan.
    Put in potatoes, using medium heat.
    Add sugars.
    Cover with lid until potatoes are tender.
    Uncover and let syrup thicken.
