Rice And Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 (16 oz.) can Freestone sliced peaches
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. whipped topping
Preparation
    Cook rice as on package; drain peaches and reserve 1/2 cup of the liquid and 12 peach slices.
    Drain remaining peaches.
    Mix drained peaches, sugar, lemon juice, margarine and spices into hot cooked rice.
    Mix well; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pour into buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Pour whipped topping over rice.
    Arrange peach slices on top and bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
