Onion-Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. finely crushed butter-flavored crackers (about 45 crackers), divided
    3 lb. onions, thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. milk
    1/2 lb. pasteurized process cheese, cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spread 1 cup cracker crumbs in a greased 8 x 11-inch baking dish.
    In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup butter over medium heat.
    Add onions; cook until tender.
    Spoon onion over cracker crumbs.
