Home-Made Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. cabbage
    3 1/2 Tbsp. course salt
Preparation
    Mix salt and cabbage and place in large earthen jar.
    If more water or brine is needed, use 2 tablespoons of salt to each quart of water.
    Place in jars and seal.
    After 6 weeks, can be processed 15 minutes in water bath.
