Ingredients

2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
grated rind of 1 lemon
5 egg yolks
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. white wine
Preparation

Cream the Crisco, sugar and lemon rind.
Add egg yolks.
Add flour, baking powder and wine.
Pat dough into greased jelly roll pan, reserving some for top.
Cover with jelly or jam.
Crisscross with rolls of remaining dough.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
